I can trace my love for stationary back to my childhood. Being overly obsessed with expanding my collection of smelly gen pens and being extremely protective over them is something I can fondly recall. It's safe to say that with time my tastes have refined and evolved but my obsession remains a firm constant.
The inspiration behind initiating my start-up Papeterie is essentially my obsession for always craving the fanciest of notebooks, highlighters, markers etc. Probably the fancy the better! (I cannot be the only one who shares this sentiment, right?) Whenever I went shopping, I would always find myself lured to the stationary store admiring the latest design of stationary available at the time and wishing I could buy a little of the entire store! In Pakistan however, the extremely good quality and trendy stationary is restricted to more of the high end stores. In local stores it's a near impossibility to find. Therefore, after putting in considerable thought to the idea, I decided begin this online venture to cater to all the stationary freaks who share my sentiments (or rather, obsession!) of good quality stationary

Something that truly fascinates me about stationary is its vast variety to tailor to different needs for different people. For some it's a simple notepad and pen but it definitely extends much further than serving as a simple writing aid. It has a personal touch to it. I'm sure many of you will be able to relate to the feeling to a pen just "feeling" right at times. The feeling is indescribable and that epiphany usually translated into being put into a better mood but also at times better handwriting. It usually just takes the perfect pen to bring that out in a person! It may not be similar for the next person and there is certainly no one pen for all.
